Agitated over neglect, Jammu militancy victims call for ‘Jammu Chalo’ | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 19: In protest against discriminatory attitude of the government towards 8 Lakh militancy affected people including 12000 migrant families of Jammu region, Tehreek-e-Insaf (TeI) has given call to all the militancy affected people of Jammu region for "Jammu Chalo” and decided to enter civil secretariat alongwith household items on March 21. Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf and ex- MLA Farooq Mir alleged that militancy affected people of Jammu are left with no choice but to protest since the government has not been listening to them. Mir sought to know compulsions preventing state and the central governments from implementing Supreme Court's order to bring Jammu migrants at Par with Kashmiri migrants. President of the Tehreek-e-Insaf Aslam Kohli said that hundreds of cases of SRO-43 are laying pending in various offices across Jammu region. Ghulam Moheudin Beig, Chief Organizer of Tehreek-e-Insaf said that thousands of people hailing from militancy affected districts of Jammu province have abandoned their homes and villages due to the threat from the militants but they have not been provided any help by the administration. Ravinder Raina General Secterary, Haji Mohammed Taj Mukery were also present in the press conference
