KP leaders meet interlocutors, submit memorandum | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu , March 19 Nine members delegation of Kashmiri Pandit leaders under the leadership of Kundan Kashmiri, National President (KPC) and Rakesh Koul President (KSD) meet with chairperson of the interlocutors Dileep Padgaonkar and Prof.M.M.Ansari, Interlocutor at Vigyan Bhawan. Both senior KP leaders, Kundan kashmiri and Rakesh Koul submitted the memorandum to Interlocutors and highlighted the burning issues of the community. They apprised them in detail about the sufferings faced by the internally displaced Kashmiri Pandits for the last twenty two years. They stressed for consolidated rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley under complete writ and control of Indian constitution and requested them to convey the government that how long Kashmiri Pandits would remain displaced. They also stressed for de-linking Prime Minister's package for return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley. More stress was given to declare the distress sale as null and void, allotment of accommodation to non-camp migrants at Jammu and Delhi onthe pattern of Jagti (Jammu).The defective voting system for Kashmiri pandits was discussed in detail which required to be made at par with other voters of country. A detailed discussion was held about temples and shrines which are in shambles in valley and stressed for getting the Temple and Shrine bill passed in the assembly as earliest as possible. It was also categorically told to the interlocutors that autonomy,pre-1953 position, self rule or any other out of box solution is not acceptable to Kashmiri Pandits as Kashmir is neither negotiable nor debatable and its accession with India is full and final . The prominent among them who met interlocutors were Kundan Kashmiri National President (KPC),Rakesh Koul President (KSD),R.L.Raina Sec.(KPC), Avinash Tickoo Gen.Sec.(KSD),Nana Jee Raina former Vice President( KSD),Sushil Bhat organising sec.(KPC),S.K.Bhat Gen.Sec. Kashmir( Sangarsh Samiti),K.L.Koul Gen.Sec.(Harmukh Society) and Jai Krishan Handoo Sec.(Sangarsh Samiti). Avinash Tickoo, R.L.Raina, S.K.Bhat and Nana Jee Raina also highlighted their view points, demands and problems of the migrants which include the problem of Delhi migrant teachers, migrant shop-keepers and other issues. Both the leaders,Kundan kashmiri and Rakesh Koul thanked them for giving a patient hearing and for point to point debate and discussion of each problem of Kashmiri Pandit migrants.
