ASHA training for resource persons concludes | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 19: The 14-day in-house training for 2nd and 3rd batch of district resource persons for ASHA concluded at Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare (RIHFW) Dohbiwan, Kashmir. Training programme was organized by the Directorate of National Rural Health Mission in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir. Training was inaugurated by Mission Director of J&K state Dr. Yashpal Sharma on 5th of March 2011 whereas the Director of Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mohammad Amin Wani was the chief guest on the concluding function. During concluding the function, director of Health services Kashmir Dr. Mohammad Amin wani was full of enthusiasm when he found good skills of training gained by the participants. He stressed the DRPs for implementation this skill full and practical based training in the fields which can give new heights and dimensions to the health dept. of J&K state. Deputy Director Planning, Dr. Saleem ur Rehman has urged that this in house training can prove very fruitful to the health planners & policies of J&K State. Dy. Director Planning and trainings Dr. Saleem-Ur- Rehman also urged to have such trainings in future in his training calendar also. Divisional Nodal Officer Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad said that the in-house training for fifty participants was a herculean task. He appreciated the hard work and dedication of all the three State trainers. DNO and Principal RIHFW urged to continue such type of trainings in collaborations in future with the help and under the supervision of Director Health services Kashmir and director National Rural health Mission J&K State.
