| 24 hurt in road accidents | | |
JAMMU, Mar 19: At least two dozen persons, including Holi revellers, were wounded in different road accidents here today.
Police said four persons sustained injuries when the minibus in which they were travelling overturned near Bawa Talab at Purkhoo.Identified as Ganesh (24) of Udhampur, Chinta (30) of Katra, Champa od Dera Baba and Simran (13) of Katra, they were admitted to the GMC hospital.
Over half a dozen speeding motorcycles slipped on the city roads, resulting in injuries to at least 20 youth who were celebrating the festival of colours.All of them were hospitalised. Police had registered cases in this connection.
