Agri technocrats gave two days ultimatum to Govt. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 21: Agricultural technocrats have given two days ultimatum to the government to clear its stand on regularization of technocrats working under Rehbar-e-Zirat otherwise they would launch agitation. They have given call for ‘secretariat chalo” on March 24, if no decision is taken. Addressing the media person, president of association Surinder Radotra while welcoming the announcement of Agriculture Minister, said that government should immediately take measures to address the issue of technocrats, who have been on agitation for last many years against the apathetic attitude of the administration. Dr Khursheed Ahmed Saraf, president of Agriculture Technocrats Association, Kashmir said that as the government is aware that most of them have cross the age bar but still they have not been regularized in the department. He also said that our struggle was justified and not illegal as quoted by agriculture minister. Others who were present on the occasion include Dr Maneet Singh, Dr Yasir Tak, Dr Rajeev Sharma and Dr Riyaz Rather.
