Jammu, March 21:-
Pradesh Congress Committee leaders today urged upon the government to compensate the loss of the farmers of kathua who have suffered a great loss recently
Former Deputy Chief Minister Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma Senior Vice President Pradesh Congress Committee, Prem Sagar Aziz-Former Minister and Vice President PCC and Subash Sharma today said that the farmers of Kathua district have suffered a great loss due to damage of their wheat crops in the hailstorm on 19th March, 2011.
They said 80% standing wheat crops have been damaged in Kathua district and it has become imperative the farmers should be compensated.
