| Opening of Degree College at Marwah welcomed | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, March 21: President District Congress Committee Kishtwar Pardeep Singh Parihar has hailed the decision of government for opening a degree college at Marwah.
In a statement issued to press, Congress District President has said that setting up a degree college at far flung area Marwah is a welcome step but government should establish a degree college at Padder also.
He has further said that by opening a degree college at Marwah thousands of poor students can pursue higher education that was otherwise unable to continue their studies.
Pardeep Singh Parihar has said that present coalition government is serious for fulfilling the local issues of the area. He has thanked chief minister Omar Abdullah and congress chief Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz for fulfilling the long pending demand of the people of Marwah and has appealed them to sanction a degree college at Padder.
