JAMMU, March 21: A meeting of Block Congress Committee Parmandal was held under the chairmanship of Hari Singh-Vice President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and contested candidate of Vijaypur.

Singh while speaking in the meeting asked the party functionaries to gear up themselves for the ensuing Panchayat elections. He appealed them to select educated, honest and dedicated candidates for this basic institution of democracy.
He also expressed concern over the shortage of seeds and fertilizers in Parmandal and Vijaypur blocks and urged upon the Govt. to provide the same without further loss of time.
