| Sakina inaugurates Craft Bazaar-2011 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 21:
Rural Artisans Welfare Society, a Non Government Organization (NGO) working in the field of Development of Handicrafts artisans has organised Craft Bazaar-2011.
The Craft Bazaar was inaugurated by Minister for Social Welfare Sakina Itoo at Kala Kendra, Bikram Chowk here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Sakina Itoo praised Handicraft Artisans and their products who had come from UP , Bihar, Rajasthan, M.P. West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir to exhibit their products in this Craft Bazaar.
She also assured the Handicraft Artisans for every kind of help from the state Govt. in the problems like sale taxes and others. Sakina Itoo persuaded the Ladies artisans to seek loan from J&K WDC (Women Development Corporation) on cheaper interest rates. She said trained Handicraft artisans need to start their production units for their economic growth.
