| Culture Academy organises interaction with Artists, writers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 21:
Jammu & Kashmir Centre for creative Arts in Collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Jammu organized an interaction session with all sections of Artists and writers fraternity in K.L. Saigal, Hall of Abhinav Theater, Jammu. Cream of Artists and a Galaxy of writers, Intellectuals and other learned personalities of social field attended this programme. The session started with the welcome address delivered by O.P Sharma Director of the centre.
In his welcome address, he highlighted that the centre was established in 2000 and since its inception it has performed its activities at several places in and outside J&K State.
The centre also put forth its agenda before the learned gathering that the centre shall make efforts to publish an Artists Directory in three phase in which all sections of Artists, writers shall be accommodated.
Highlighting centers aims and objects, Director also approved that the centre undertakes publishing of meritorious book of those writers who are unable to get these published due to scarcity of funds.
After this, the stage was left open for the gathering to put forth their problems / suggestions before the centre. A patient hearing was given to each points with an assurance to redress then by taking the issues with the concerned departments.
This interaction session was followed by a musical programme.
