| Mahila Adhikar Sangthan organizes seminar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Mar 21:
Mahila Adhikar Sangthan organized a seminar to celebrate the International Women’s Day here today.
On the occasion, several women speakers delivered their concern over the growing day by day worse condition of the women at international level.
The state president of the Mahila Adhikar Sangthan Santosh Khajuria said that the women and men are two wheels of the society if one of them get down, it surely leads to the collapse of the human society but it is regretted to say that the women are still struggling for their self respect and dignity in our patriarchal social system.
On the occasion the BDO Kathua Mandeep Kour was the chief guest and the guest of honour Gian Singh Pathania.
They also addressed in the seminar and urged the people to provide the education to every female to bring the confidence among the women so as to fight for their right and dignity. In the seminar the general secretary Indu Sambyal, district president Kathua Mahila Sangthan Preeti Sharma and Surbi Nandhan, Rekha and Sulkshana were also present.
