| NSUI hold meet, demand hostel facility for non- local students | | |
BHADARWAH, Nov 13 A high level meeting of National Student Union of India (NSUI) was held here today under the chairmanship of its District President Mohammed Sajid Malik in which various problems confronting the student community were discussed. Speakers demanded that Hostel facility should be provided to the non-local students and staff members of Government P.G. College, imposing ban on private tuitions, introducing new subjects like Sociology and Physiology and deployment of adequate staff in all educational institutions. The meeting also demanded that the scholarship provided to ST and poor students should be doubled, besides ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity in far- flung areas. Addressing the meeting Malik said that the Union would continue to fight for the genuine demands of the student community and appealed the Chief Minister to intervene to get these demands of the student solved at the earliest. Those who also spoke at the meeting included Fiza Khan, Anjum,R.R.Dar ,Manoj, Dimple,Rather, Pooja, K.D.Shah, Arshad, Mudassir Bhala, Parshotam and Majid Ansar.
