Jammu Mar 22:-
Mr. Harshdev Singh stressed on improving services delivery system for the larger interest of the public. He sought speedy disposal of files in Government offices and enforcing accountability. He said officers responsible for causing delay should be dealt with seriously to lend a semblance to the oft repeated slogans of transparency and accountability by the government. He also called for strengthening the State Information Commission, appointment of Chairman of JK BOSE and State Backward Commission.
He said all the three regions should be given equal share in development and plan outlays. He also called for bringing Udhampur district under Backward Regions funding. He also advocated regularization of SPOs and enhancement in the honorarium of VDC members.
