| CAPD employees call on director | | | November 13, 006.
A provincial body of the employees of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department led by its President Mr. Rajinder Singh Wazir, Sr. Vice President R. C. Gupta, Secretary General Mr. Dheerj Singh, Rajinder Singh Preet and other met with worthy Director CA&PD at his office chamber on November 11 and discussed all the burning problems which include promotion in situ, providing of furniture/ almirah, wooden sleepers, tarpleans, holding of D.P.C. of all categories. Sending of Accounts Party at district headquarter for compiling accounts, allocation of funds to Assistant Director Poonch for meeting 5th Pay Commission arrear of G.P.Fund two installments, interference of Revenue Department, upgradation of the post of T.S.O, one time promotion to 4th Class Employees on the analogy of Srinagar employees, etc. The worthy Director gave patient hearing and asked the concerned officers of the department to fix date for holding of D.P.C., providing of funds/ supply of furniture, tarpalian immediately and send reminder to Administrative Department regarding upgrading of post of T.S.O., one time promotion to IVth class employees, sanction of 22 posts of Inspectors/ Supervisors, all the cases are already lying with them. Regarding In-Situ-Promotion, the date has been fixed on 15-11-2006. The Director assured the deputationists that necessary steps would be taken up with the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu regarding interference by the Revenue Department in CAPD department. Earlier, on the request of employees of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department (CA&PD) of district Poonch and Rajouri, the members of Central Provincial body of the Association attended one day convention at district headquarter Rajouri and number of employees from district Udhampur, Doda and Jammu attended the convention where number of spokesmen apprised the problems being faced by them at their respective district
