| 'Jocasta' staged during annual drama festival | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 22: During the day seven of the annual drama festival 2011, Vikram Sharma’s translation of Sandra Perlman’s famed play ‘Jocasta’ was staged here today. Produced by Shivani Cultural Society the play proved to be a treat for the audience. Showcasing a deep tragedy the play exposes the dichotomy in human character. Through his direction Vikram succeeded in highlighting the transitional shift in a woman’s tragic life. The play saw some beautiful performances by Neha Lohatra, Harmeet Kour, and Pooja Langey. Rajat Behl composed music for ‘Jocasta’ while Shalini Sharma took care of make up, set and costume.
