JD Institute holds annual design presentation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU Mar 22:- Like every year, JD Institute of Fashion Technology held an annual design presentation at New Delhi. The event started with lighting of traditional lamp. The students, at their respective spaces had created their own unique environment. The themes were interestingly named as Transition, Freaky, Pieces of Life, Smooth Operator, Technoz. These were impressively communicated using a variety of props like a Guava tree made out of waste, used sneakers painted with Graffiti, cart wheel and many more. As one moved from one installation to the other, the designers were offering adequate explanation of their concepts. Not to be left behind the Interior Designer Jediiians presented concepts products like Posture, Plus-Minus, Realization Mirror etc. Their concepts embodied technique, creativity, comfort and technology. The team was also joined by some eminent members of the design world including Charu Parashar, a-‘New Gen’ Designer and also known as ‘Ambassador of Indian fashion’ and ‘Revivalist’, Raghav Singh, an alumni of JD Institute and National award winner owns the Easy Upside, Chandrika Sahay- a well known Interior Designer has worked with architect Brinda Samaya, Smit Raj Gyanani, a An Alumni of JD Institute. Fashion design certificates and trophies were sponsored and awarded by the leading Fashion Industry Magazine- Apparel Online. On the occasion, Maansi Gupta , centre director said the design installations done by Jediians demonstrated their insight, knowledge and skills, creativity and expertise. Most importantly, the event conveyed the promise of magnificent creations to be showcased in the Annual Design Awards Show.
