ITCO organizes capacity building prog

Jammu , March 22
J&K ITCO has organized 5th programme on capacity building on use of consultancy services by client organizations in association with Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India New Delhi at EDI Training Hall Jawahar Udyogh Bhawan, Jammu.
General Manager, DIC, Ramban, Vinod Kumar Banhal was the chief guest. Others present included such a J&K Handloom Development Department, J&K Handicraft Development, Director of Industries etc. and other guests were present in the programme.
The Chief Consultant J&K ITCO in his address spoke on aim, objective and the area of the programme for providing consultancy services in the state. He also spoke on usefulness of J&K ITCO in association with CDC on Capacity Building of client organization of better use of consultancy services in Government Department and for other Organizations.
S.P Sud briefed on Consultancy Services being rendered by J&K ITCO in the state and background of the promoters organization including role of CDC at National level. He further explained the aims and objectives of the Capacity Building for use of Conultancy Services by client organization in Govt Department PSUs and others. The technical session was taken by Binoy Kumar (Consultant) J&K ITCO on different aspects of selection of consultants including Short listing of Consultants, Proposal Invitation and Proposal Evaluation.
Vinod Kumar Banhakl stressed the need for availing Consultancy services for rapid industrialization and economic development of the State. Marron Rashid, Sr Manager EDI highlighted the benefit of consultancy services in the promotion of industries in the state of J&K.
Binoy Kumar consultant J&K ITCO in his vote of thanks highlighted the role of J&K ITCO and CDC for broader coverage of use of consultancy services in the state and hoped for co-operation from officers of various departments/ organizations present in the programme in conducting further programmes in future and extended thanks on behalf of J&K ITCO for attending the sessions of the programme.
