| Half-eaten by dogs, body of newborn found at Bus Stand | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 22: The corpse of a newborn girl, partially eaten up by stray dogs, was today recovered from the ever-busy general bus stand area here.
It was found lying at the bus stand by some passersby who brought the matter to the notice of police, according to police sources.A police party from the bus stand police station reached the spot and evacuated the body to the GMC hospital where it was kept in the mortuary.
Though it was badly mutilated and had been half-eaten with some parts missing, no dog was found near it when it was spotted by some people, the sources added.
Sources said it seemed as if it was thrown at bus stand by someone late Monday night, or in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.Police had registered a case in this connection.
