| Nasir welcomes opening of degree college at Marwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISTWAR, Mar 23: Youth Congress leader Sheikh Nasir Hussain has welcomed the decision of government for opening a degree college at far flung area Marwah in district Kishtwar.
In a statement issued to press Youth Congress leader has said that by setting up a degree college at Marwah the government has fulfilled the long pending demand of the people of the far flung area and now the need of the hour is to sanction a college for women at Kishtwar and a degree college at Padder and Dachhan also.
He said that the people of these areas were demanding opening of colleges in their areas and youth congress has number of occasions raised the issue. He has said that it is very unfortunate that for a vast and educationally backward district with population of more than 2.5 lacs there is no college for women.
