PDP dismay over arrangements for KP migrants at Mattan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Mar, 23: PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayed has welcomed the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley back and has also send a team of PDP officials as well as workers headed by M. K Dhar, special assistant to PDP patron to Mattan to meet the Kashmiri Pandits there. The team visited visited the Mattan Village of Kashmir and met the Kashmiri migrants there who have recently joined their jobs under the Prime Ministers relief Package. The team welcomed the move of the central government to provide jobs to the migrants in the valley, who had left this place in the early 1990’s. M.K Dhar expressed dismay over the arrangements made for these employees in Vesu. “I am not satisfied with the facilities provided here as 7-8 people have been accommodated in a single flat. No proper ration facility, medical services and security is available to the Kashmiri Pandit employees here”, he said. He urged the state government to provide proper facilities to these employees so they can get better environment here.Dhar also demanded that these employees especially ladies should not be posted in the far flung areas. Dhar was accompanied Advocate Javeed, zonal president Anantnag, Abdul Aziz, senior leader PDP and advocate Jawed, senior leader PDP during his visit. S.K Raina, Provincial secretary employees and workers trade union, PDP, hailed the visit of the team send by Mufti Mohammad Sayed and said that his visit has boosted the moral of the Kashmiri Pandits who have joined their duties in different parts of the Valley.
