| Medal winners call on Sports Minister | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, March 24: Medals winners in the recently held 9th Open Honkong International Wushu Championship today called on the Minister for Sports, R S Chib at latter’s residence, here.
Minister appreciated the achievements of the state players, who represented the country and performed well in the competition. While Inspector Kuldeep Handoo and Arjun Singh Charak bagged bronze medals in the 90 and 75 kg weight categories respectively, Lalit Singh remained fourth in 60 kg weight group.
Among others present were patron of the J&K Wushu Association, Inspector General of J&K Police, S Owais and chairman, IGP Traffic, HK Lohia and Ranjeet Kalra (VP).
