| Seminar on consumer awareness organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 24: Jay Kay Women Welfare Society in collaboration with Ministry of Consumer Affairs organized a seminar on ‘Consumer Awareness on Investor Education and Protection Fund at KL Sehgal Hall.
Secretary Khadi and Village Industries Board Rabinder Singh was the chief guest whereas Karan Bir Singh Sethi and Deputy Secretary KVIB Nagrotra was the guest of honor.
Nagtotra inaugurated the programme by giving introduction of the policies. Secretary Congress Committee Vinod Bhushan Sharma presented his views of funds generation schemes, investments in government sector and in private sector.
Chairperson Women Development Society Suman Handa explained about the toys manufacturing and marketing techniques development. Handa has been a recognized figure in this field at National and State Level. She displayed her toys samples in the process which was appreciated by the distinguished gathering.
Similarly, Karan Bir Singh Sethi on the basic tips on the investment under IEPF and Relationship Manager LT Mutual Fund Pankaj Gupta, Branch Manager Bharti AXA Navneet Mediratta, Branch Manager Reliance Mutual Fund, Datar Singh presented their views about the Plan and policies on Investment under IEPF.
The function was presided over by General Secretary District Congress Committee Vinod Bhushan Sharma.
At the end Secretary-cum-Executive Director JKWWS T R Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
