| Wrestling competition organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 24- The IRP 9th Bn. Maitra, Ramban organized a wrestling competition at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban under Civic Action Programme to boost and encourage the sports culture among the youth.
Commandant IRP 9th Bn. Verinder Kumar Bali, SP was the chief guest who inaugurated the competition.
As many as 50 wrestlers from adjoining rural areas of district Ramban, as well as from Jammu district participated in the competition. About 7000 people including prominent citizens, senior police officers of district Ramban and District Wrestling Association witnessed the competition.
Special prizes including cash reward were distributed among the winner and runners up, mementos were also given to the prominent citizens of district Ramban during the wrestling competition.
