| World TB day celebrated at Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 24-World TB Day was observed today at a simple and graceful function at District Tuberculosis Centre Udhampur.
Chief Medical Officer DR. Anil Alma was the chief guest and Dr. J K Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Among others, Medical Superintendent Dr. Chander Prakash , Dy. CMO Dr. Santosh sharma and Dr. Surinder Gupta were present on the occasion.
District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr. D J Raina and Dr. Pushap Gupta Senior Chest Physician briefed the audience about World TB Day. Students from AMT School also expressed their views regarding TB and its prevention.
Certificate and prizes were distributed to the participant students. Blankets were distributed among cured and under treatments patients. The slogan for this year on World TB Day is “On the move against tuberculosis, transforming the fight towards elimination”.
