| Poetry recitation at Kalra College of Education | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 24-District Information Centre, Udhampur in collaboration with Kalra College of Education, Battal Ballian, Udhampur organized a multilingual Mushiara in the premises of College Complex here today. A renowned and budding poets of the District took part in the Mushiara who recited their verses in Dogri, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu touching all aspects of society.
The Director, Kalra College of Education, Rita Kalra was the chief guest on the occasion while Principal of the College, Ranjna Sharma presided.
The poetic recitation of a renowned Dogri poet, Bal Krishan Bhawnra titled “Bind Manuaey Ch Boney Di Jach Sikh------” was highly appreciated by the audience while Dogri poem titled “ Oh Dindhey Rey Juthey Lare……..” by Jia Lal Jia also got loud applause.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of the College appreciated the efforts of Information department for organizing this Mushaira in the college and hoped that such programmes would be organized in feature also.
Among others, poets Jagdeep Dubey, Surjeet Hosh, Madan Lal Kundal, Amitab Zakhmi, Naseeb Mansotra, Awdesh Naryian Mishra, Chaman Lehri, Rupali, Makhan Singh, Spana Devi, Mohit Singh Gareeb Singh, Mohd. Ashiq and M. K. Pagal etc presented their poetic compositions in different languages which were highly appreciated by the audience present on the occasion.
