| Asiya's detention under PSA quashed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Mar 24: The detention of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi under PSA was today quashed by the high court. Quashing her detention, Justice FM Ibrahim Kalifulla directed the state government to release her if she was not wanted in any other case.
Asiya was arrested in August last year for allegedly spearheading the protests alongwith hardline Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and his close associate Masarat Alam. |
