| Twitter Omar ‘provokes’ Gul to applaud CM over Facebook | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: After Omar Abdullah, now it is turn of his advisor Mubarak Gul to log in on social networking site with the sole purpose of getting support in favour of young chief minister.
On Thursday, when Chief Minister was busy watching world cup quarter final match between India and Australia, Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul was on his computer rallying support in favour of Omar Abdullah. First, Gul posted a message on his wall claiming, “Omar Abdullah sahib does not believe in publicizing his actions but he surely believes in one thing; Actions speak louder than words. He is amazing, responsive, spontaneous and highly dedicated person. God bless our CM ".
In response to the spirited post, the first reply came as a rude shock to Mubarak Gul. Gul kept his cool as the respondent began with the comment, "he is politically immature person". This kind of harsh comment at the very outset immediately triggered a chain reaction and well-wishers of Omar Abdullah flooded the wall by praising leadership qualities and no nonsense approach of the Chief Minister.
Batting in support of Omar Ashu Razdan wrote in response to the comment, “i think you are not mature enough to judge the good works of our CM. His works are worth praising". Bansi Raina wrote, “He is a commoner inspite of his lineage. He is an MBA unlike other politicians. He has matured since his transition from centre to State politics. Unlike other politicians, he admits his mistakes’. But is he strong enough to counter his adversaries both inside NC and outside”.
Another admirer posted his comment saying, “Omar Abdullah is a dynamic leader. Let’s strengthen our faith in him and let him work for the prosperity of this nation”. Inayat Ali Shotopa replied,” Gul Sahab Well said. May God bless him but one thing i must mention that the people of Kargil have elected at all the forms of election representatives from NC whether that is council election, assembly or MP but our beloved CM visited our district only once a time and the bad thing is that what he promised at that time is still pending.”
National Conference leader TS Tony posted, “I fully endorse you sir. Omar is gift of the almighty God to mankind in the service of mankind. Yet another admirer of Omar Abdullah Aju Kazad wrote, "God bless our hakim". Significantly, Mubarak Gul moderated the discussion on his wall for long time and acknowledged the feedback of almost all the respondents.
