| ALMSA held protest in front of UNO office | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: All Ladakh Muslim Student Association (ALMSA), held protest rally in front of United Nation Observers (UNO) Office against the mass killings in Bahrain and Libya.
Addressing the gathering ALMSA spokesperson said that on one hand America and its alliances is attacking Libya with the excuse to overthrow the dictator Ghadifi while on the other hand the United States is completely ignoring the brutalities of the ruler of Bahrain Hamad Al Khalifa’s because of its loyalty towards the US.
He further added that America’s intervention is nothing to do with the legal rights of people rather they do so to fulfill their own interests.
They gathered on the national highway and marched towards the UNO office.
Condemning America’s intervention in Middle East and its air strikes in Libya one of the protesters said “by interfering in the people’s uprising in Middle East America is trying to hijack the people’s movement”.
Later, they also submitted a memorandum to the officials of UNO.
