| Area specific code of conduct for J&K Panchayat elections | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: Jammu and Kashmir government today said that Model Code of Conduct (MCC) will remain enforced area-wise in the state.
Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into force this month in the state, ahead of Panchayat elections. Replying to a point raised by Peer Mansoor Ahmad during zero hour in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats Ali Mohammad Sagar said that MCC will remain enforced area-wise in the state.
Once the elections in a particular area are over, the MCC wound not remain enforced there, the Minister said
