EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: CPI (M) legislator M Y Tarigami today demanded posting of trained and well qualified Urdu and Kashmiri teachers for teaching these languages in educational institutes of the state.
Urging the government to work out specific requirement of these language teachers and appoint them through Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB), he said that Urdu, the official language of the state needed due and proper treatment.
Tarigami said that general line teachers, who are presently teaching Urdu and Kashmiri in schools especially at secondary level, cannot do justice with their job.
