| Mangat inspects site for const of Rs. 120 cr super specialty hospital | | |
Srinagar, Nov 14
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma today visited proposed site for construction of additional building to accommodate 6 super specialties in Jammu Medical College under Prime Minster Reconstructions Programme. This project will cost Rs.120 crore.
Secretary Health and Medical Education, Mr. K. B. Jandial, Principal Medical College, Jammu Dr. Mumtaz Goni, Director Health Service Dr. Jasbir Singh and senior doctors from CD Hospital accompanied the Minister.
Mr. Sharma also inspected proposed site plan, land of Sericulture Department and part of CD Hospital Building proposed to be demolished for construction of the super specialty hospital. Mr. Sharma said that for this purpose about 50 kanals of land is required and final decision in this behalf will be taken in the meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Minister also inspected CD Hospital and took stock of medicare facilities being provided to the patients. |
