J&K govt to take care of MBBS aspirants: Rather | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 25: Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather today assured appropriate measures to safeguard the interests of state’s youth vis-à-vis entrance examination in MBBS. He said that government will not allow the students of the youth to suffer on this account while making it clear that Common Entrance Test for doctors at national level will not necessarily be applicable to the state mutatis mutandis. Earlier, the issue was raised by the PDP legislature party leader Mehbooba Mufti, who while quoting a newspaper report demanded that Common Entrance Test for MBBS at national level should not be applicable in the state in view of the fact that NCERT syllabus is taught to the students in the State while in rest of the country CBSE syllabus is in vogue. This, she said will jeopardize the interests of those students of the State, who aspire for MBBS and minimize their chances to make it to the prestigious medical entrance test.
