| Appropriation Bills passed in LC | | Business in LC | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: Legislative Council today passed two appropriation Bills namely, “A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the Services of the Financial year 2010-11 (L. A. Bill No. 07 of 2011), which was already passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
Another Bill, (L.A. Bill No. 08 of 2011) regarding withdrawal of certain sums from and out of the consolidated Fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the services of the financial year 2011-12 which has been already passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. Motions in this regard were moved by Minister of State for Finance and Planning Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma on behalf of Finance Minister in the Upper House.
Three House Panel reports were tabled today in the Legislative Council. MLC M. Y. Taing presented the 49th report of the Public Accounts Committee, Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardhy presented 43rd report of the Public Undertaking Committee and Javed Ahmad Rana presented 41st report of the Estimates Committee in the Legislative Council today.
