| KVS organises regional incentive award ceremony | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, Jammu region organised regional incentive award ceremony – 2010 in the auditorium of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1.Gandhi Nagar, Jammu today.
Pawan Kotwal Divisional Commissioner, Jammu was the chief guest and S.R. Panthi, DIG Group Centre, CRPF was the guest of honour.
Kendriya Vidalaya Sangthan in its first regional incentive award ceremony presented 11 awards to teachers and staff of the region comprising a cash award of Rs 5000, cash and a shawl was presented by Pawan Kotwal , Divisional commissioner, Jammu to the awardees for their meritorious services for the cause of education.
Two teachers of K.V No.1. Jammu, Banarsi Dass TGT (Social science) and Meena Sharma, PRT 04 Teacher Anita TGT Math Kuljinder Karu HM, Kiran Bala PRT and Kulwant Vashishath PRT form KV No.1. Jalandhar and Aarti Gupat TGT and Kulwant (Sc) from KVs at Nagrota, Alka Bal PRT Kulwant Vashishath PRT from KV.No1. Jalandhar and Arti Gupta TGT (SC) from KVs at Nagrota Alka Bal PGT (Eng) No.2 Jammu and Beena Kuamr, PRT KV No .3 Pathankot got the award. In Assistant KVS Regional Office, Jammu were also presented regional incentive awards.
Pawan Kotwal said that awarding teachers for their meritorious service will go a long way in motivating them for better performance which in the longer course will help in further improvements of overall stranded of education . Earlier, in his welcome address P.K. Koul Assistant commissioner while giving details said that the institution of KVS regional incentive awards form the year 2010 by KVS that the authorities aims at recognizing the teachers for their meritorious services for the cause of education he said by honoring the teachers . Among other dignitaries present on the occasion were distinguished personalities form the filed of education retired education officers of the sangthan, principals and staff of different KVS.
