| 11 hurt in bus accident | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 25 : Atleast 11 persons were today wounded after a bus in which they were travelling overturned at Sagar in Mendhar area of Poonch.
Police sources said with 40 passengers on board, the bus (JK02D-5057) was on its way to Sagar from Mendhar.
Soon after it left the Mendhar bus stand, driver Tanveer Ahmed lost control over it as a result of which it turned turtle in the middle of the road, leaving at least 11 passengers wounded, two of them critically.
The injured were hospitalised. Eight of them were identified as Muzaffar Hussain, Nasreen Kousar, Sabina Bi, Hamida Begam, Raseema Akhtar, Mohammed Asaq, Ghulam Ahmed and Sikander Hayat.
Police had registered a case in this connection. |
