| Khem Lata appointed House committee chairperson | | | JAMMU, NOV 14
In exercise of powers conferred upon him by Rule 282(2) of the Rules of Procedure and conduct of Business in J&K Legislative Assembly Speaker, Mr. Tara Chand today nominated Mrs Khem Lata Wakhloo MLA as member of the House Committee to look into, the appointments made in all the departments of the state government from 1996 till date and the reasons therefore;, works got executed in all engineering wings of the government from 1996 till date without inviting tenders during this period and the reasons therefore; and whether any law, rule, regulation, code or standing order of the government was violated in respect of i & ii above.
The Speaker has in terms of Rule 286 (1) of Rules of Procedure and conduct opf Business in J&K Legislative Assembly also appointed Mrs. Khem Lata Wakhloo as chairperson of the above committee. |
