| Encroachers of state land won’t be spared: Bhalla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla today assured to safeguard state land from encroachments. He asserted that encroacher of State land, irrespective of his status will not be spared.
He was responding to the point raised by CPI (M) legislator M Y Tarigami in the House during zero hour. He dared the legislator to show a specific instance of encroachment, where the government has not taken prompt action.
Earlier, Tarigami said that print media has reported continuously about land encroachment over a few months. He demanded a Commission of Inquiry to probe the matter in depth.
