| 4 civilians among 7 injured in mine blast in Baramulla | | | Baramulla, Nov 14 At least seven people including three army Jawans were injured one of them critically, when a land mine exploded at Khanpur Baramulla on Srinagar-Uri National Highway of North Kashmir here this afternoon. Defence spokesman informed that an improvised explosive device (IED) was triggered by militants at Khanpur locality of Baramulla near Uri Bus stand on the Srinagar-Uri highway at about 1:15 pm today, when an army convoy was way to Uri. He said adding three army jawans; four civilians were injured in the attack. “Army vehicle and other civil vehicles were damaged in the attack” he added Sources disclosed that all the injured have been shifted to the Baramulla district hospital and Military hospital Srinagar. The civilians most of them drivers have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Dar S/O Dilawar Dar of Kupwara, Mohd Ashraf Lone S/O Khazir Lone of Sheerpora Kupwara, Fayaz Sheikh S/O Ahadullah Sheikh of Nagai Kupwara, Azad Lone Wani S/O Gh Hassan of Zandfarn Sheer Baramulla.
