| Annual NSS Camp at Village Chak | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: NSS Unit of Dogra College of Education today organized seven days Camp at Village Chak Avtara.
Various activities were held during the camp which included socio economic surveys, Cleanliness Drive and Awareness Rally, and Lecture by Dr. Suman Gupta (Gynecologist) from Government Hospital Bishnah, Yoga Exercises, Socio-Economic Surveys, Literacy Drive and Plantation Drive.
Dr. Kiran Luthra Principal of the College highlighted the role of NSS in developing student's personality through community service. Camp report was presented by Rajni Manhas (PO NSS). Various Cultural activities were performed by the NSS Volunteers viz Group Song, Poem Recitation and skit by NSS Volunteers.
Kr. Ghambir Dev Singh Charak Member Trustee, Dogra Educational Trust was the Chief Guest on the occasion who was very much pleased with the efforts put in by the NSS Volunteers to make the people aware of the Health and Hygiene, Adult Education, Girl Child Education and Communicable Diseases.
Programme was also attended by Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Prof. B D Daal Director Dogra College of Education, Prof. V K Kapoor Director cum Principal Dogra Law College, S L Kotwal Principal DIETT, Prizes and Certificates were also distributed among the NSS Volunteers. At the end Vote of thanks was moved by s. Rekha Devi, Lecturere of the College.
