| Exam held for higher judicial services | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: The written examination for higher judicial services (district and sessions judge) was held today in the high court complexs of Jammu and Srinagar.
The examination was conducted under the overall supervision of registrar general J R Kotwal.
While registrar judicial Kartar Singh was superintendent of Jammu center, registrar judicial Kaneez Fatima was Srinagar center superintendent.
Justice Sunil and Justice Hasnain Massodi monitored examination center at Jammu, while Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, Justice J P Singh and Justice M H Attar monitored the examination center at
Srinagar.
In Jammu, 79 candidates appeared out of 137 who had applied for the post of district and sessions judge, while in Srinagar, 62 candidates appeared out of 99. The second paper of the examination
was scheduled to be held on March 27.
