| Committee concerned over harassment of SI | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: Jammu and Kashmir State Samaj Sudhar Committee (JKSSSC) today expressed grave concern over the authorities of ITBP for harassing and depriving a Sub -Inspector namely Sudesh Kumar of ITBP of salary and other service benefits for last more than 23 years despite court order merely because he had unearthed training allowance scam 23 years back saving government exchequer from Rs.300 crore loss.
This was stated by President of the committee Mohammed Yousuf Wani while addressing a press conference here today. He further said that instead of awarding such a loyal employee, he has been put to sufferings by withholding his pay dues and other service benefits including promotion as per direction of High Court.
Wani appealed Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to get the matter looked into for releasing pay dues of the said Sub- Inspector Sudesh Kumar and allowing him all service benefits for his devotion and dedication. Other delegates present included Mohan Choudhary, IJaiym Gupta, Narinder Pal Choudhary, Fayaz Ahmed Malik, Nazir Ahmed, Sahadat Hussain, Haji Aslam Kohli, Bodh Raj, Pavesh and Gasu Ram.
