| Interaction on Sakshar Bharat programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: Sakshar Bharat is one of the 18 flagship Programmes of the Prime Minister with an objective to make India totally literate by 2012.
Main focus of the Programme is women literacy. Programme was launched by the Prime Minister as 8th September 2009 an International Literacy stay. Programme is in preparatory phase in J&K State Resource Centre. One day sensitization of Media Persons both print and Electronic was conducted at Press Club Jammu.
Prof Riyaz Punjabi vice-chancellor Kashmir University also interacted with the Media persons an role in fusing forwarded the efforts of the Govt for Eradication of illiteracy from the country and the J&K State as well.
