JAMMU, Mar 26: Safaikarmcharies union has given four days ultimatum to the state government to fulfill their long pending demands.
They said that the Chief Minister assured them of the fulfillment of their demands but to no avail. They have given four days ultimatum to state government and Municipal authorities for fulfill their demands within a day.
They further said that their demands include creation of post of ward officers on the pattern of Srinagar; release of arrears and salary, time bound promotion from 1-1-2006 and immediate holding of DPC meeting. Prominent persons among those who were present on the occasion included Attar Singh, Ramesh Gill and others.
