| NDS felicitates Bal Krishan Nagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 26: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) in collaboration with Anjuman Tarqqi-e-Urdu Hindi honoured Bal Krishan Nagar here today.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. While Renowned Urdu Short Storey Writer, Poet S.S. Anand Lehar was the guest of honour. Eminent Journalist and Secretary General, Press Club of Jammu, Sohail Kazmi, was the special guest, whereas Additional Secretary, Cultural Academy, Jammu Prof. Savita Bakshi, was the special invitee.
MLC and Former Director General Culture M.Y.Taing president over the function. Bal Krishan Nagar was felicitated and honoured by presenting upon him the Sahitya Shree Award-2011, a Citation, a Shawl and a Memento.
While addressing the programme Mangat Ram Sharma said that Bal Krishan Nagar is senior most in the field of Literature, Social Work and culture. He said that the literature is bondage of brotherhood and it brings people near.
