Dharmarth Trust distributes financial help to 7 NGOs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Mar. 27: The Chairman Trustee Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Dr. Karan Singh distributed second installment of Rs 96,000 to seven Non-Governmental Organizations for carrying out of various social works in the society. The Trust annually provides Rs 1.92 lakh financial help to these organizations for social works. At a simple but an impressive function held here today, Chairman Trustee accompanied by President of the Trust, Thakur Divakar Singh gave Rs 66,000 to Jammu Yatri Bhawan. This social Non-Governmental Organization provides free boarding and lodging facilities to Yatries who visit Haridwar. He also provided Rs 10,000 financial help to Gaou Raksha Samiti, followed by financial help of Rs 6,000 to Balniketan School, Ved Mandir, Rs. 4,000 each to Home for Aged and In-firms, and School for Deaf and Dumb and Rs. 3000 each for SOS Children, Chhanni RaIna, Jammu and Kusht Ashram, Bhagwati Nagar. Representatives of these Organizations thanked the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust for financial help and appreciated philanthropic spirit of Dr. Karan Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Karan Singh applauded functioning of the Trust and said that since its inception, the Trust has earned good name in whole of the northern India and the credit for that goes to the honest and dedicated service of the employees of the Trust.
