Dharmarth Trust distributes financial help | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 27: The Chairman Trustee Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Maharaja Dr. Karan Singh distributed second installment of Rs. 96,000 to seven Non- Governmental Organizations for carrying out of various social works in the society. The Trust annually provides Rs. 1.92 lakh financial help to these organizations for social works. At a function held here today, Chairman Trustee accompanied by President of the Trust, Thakur Divakar Singh gave Rs. 66,000 financial help to Jammu Yatri Bhawan. This social Non-Governmental Organization provides free boarding and lodging facilities to Yatries who visit Haridwar for having the holy dip in Gangaji. He also provided Rs. 10,000 financial help to Gaou Raksha Samiti, Ambphalla, Jammu followed by financial help of Rs. 6,000 to Balniketan School, Ved Mandir, Jammu. Rs. 4,000 each to Home for Aged and In-firms , Ambphalla , Jammu and School for Deaf and Dumb and Rs. 3000 each for SOS Children, Chhanni Rama, Jammu and Kusht Ashram, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Representatives of these organizations thanked the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust for financial help and appreciated philanthropic spirit of Dr. Karan Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Karan Singh applauded functioning of the Trust and said that since its inception, the Trust has earned good name in whole of the northern India and the credit for that goes to the honest and dedicated service of the employees of the Trust.
