| Truck catches fire, driver among 2 sustain burns | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 27 : The truck of a wood factory caught fire at Bari Brahmana near here today, resulting in injuries to two persons, including driver. Police sources said Balbir Chand drove the truck of Sagvi wood factory at Bari Brahmana to a nearby khud to throw some unwanted material loaded in the vehicle.
However, when they reached the khud, the truck caught fire, the sources added. Sources said Balbir immediately turned the truck towards the nearby fire station, but he could not reach there as the flames soon engulfed the whole vehicle as a result of which he and another person travelling with him sustained burns. Both of them were admitted to the GMC hospital. The Bari Brahmana police had registered a case in this connection. |
