| Surrendered ultra, associate held in Rajouri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 27 : A surrendered militant and his associate were today arrested by police at Changdo in Reasi. Police sources said acting on a tip-off, cops raided Changdo and arrested from there Zaman Shah alias Tanveer, a surrendered militant, and his associate Hakim Shah. Their sustained interrogation was in progress, the sources added.Sources said Tanveer had earlier surrendered before Rashtriya Rifles in 2003 and bailed out four years later. It was suspected that Tanveer, who had settled in the village with the help of Hakim Shah, was a Pakistani national, the sources added. |
