While DIG Farooq Khan hinted at the involvement of some more big-wigs during the press conference a few days ago, Sources with in SIT revealed that two more close relatives of Nagar Singh are being grilled to ascertain their frequent contacts with Baig. Sources said that two relatives of Nagar Singh who remained in regular contact with Nago through Baig's mobile in Central Jail are being grilled. They added that one of these two relatives on directions of Nagar Singh financed goons as per plan cooked up in central jail under Baig's supervision during his tenure as Superintendent of Kot Bhalwal. On the other hand a close relative of Baig who enjoy contacts with higher ups in the government has applied for the bail plea for Baig on the pretext that he was being made scapegoat as there is nothing to substantiate his alleged involvement in the entire conspiracy. Pertinent to mention here that interrogating team headed by SDPO Jammu East, Mukesh Kakkar including SHO Channi, Ajay Jamwal, SHO Nagrota, Parvez, SHO Miran Sahib, Sunil Jasrotia has also got clue after quizzing them. |
