Rajiv Cricket: 2-wkt win for Bagh-e-Bahu Club | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 28: Bagh-e-Bahu Cricket Club registered a narrow two wickets win over Singh Cricket Club (SCC) to move into the second round in the ongoing 2nd Rajiv Gandhi Memorial (T20) Cricket Tournament at MA Stadium, here. Earlier, Singh Club batting first managed a total of 105 for nine wickets. Sunny was highest scorer with 29 runs while Sunil and Ashu contributed 22 and 18 runs respectively. From Bagh-e-Bahu, Sagar took three wickets while Munir and Rahul claimed two wickets each. Munir, in particular, bowled well to take two wickets giving away just eight runs in his spell of 4 overs. In reply, Bagh-e-Bahu chased the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Nikhil contributed highest 24 runs while Ganpat chipped in with 14 runs and Munir and Shammi made13 runs each. Sunil was the wrecker-in-chief for SCC, who took four important wickets and Sham Singh picked two. Today’s match was officiated by Rajeev, Madan Lal and Yogesh Sharma.
